The Admin Guide

What every screen actually does, and how to run your league day to day — from setup, through a normal gameweek, to closing out the season. If you're deciding whether to sign up, see How It Works instead — this page is for once you're in.

01 · Standings & Stats

The core of the league — updates every time you pull a gameweek.

Standings shows the full table, sorted by total points, with each manager's form over recent gameweeks. In a Classic league it's one table; in a Head-to-Head league H2H it's League Standings plus a separate Fixtures tab showing who's playing whom each week.

Stats goes underneath the table: form guides, season averages, and manager habits (captaincy choices, chip usage, that kind of thing) — the numbers people argue about in the group chat.

02 · Awards & MOTM

Manager of the Week, Dickhead of the Week, Manager of the Month.

After you pull a gameweek's scores, the Awards tab shows the current MOTW (top score) and DOTW (bottom score) for that week, plus a running tally across the season. If two managers tie, the app resolves it automatically using an agreed tie-break order (fewer transfer hits first, then captain points, and so on) — you can always override the result by hand if you disagree with the call.

MOTM (Manager of the Month) works the same way but totals a full month's gameweeks before deciding a winner.

03 · The Race & GW Recap

The Race is a projected finish — from gameweek 20 onward it takes each manager's second-half average and projects it forward, giving a sense of where the table is heading rather than just where it stands today.

GW Recap is a single gameweek's story: biggest riser, biggest faller, the closest H2H match of the round, that week's top scorer — the kind of thing worth posting to the group straight after a gameweek finishes.

04 · Rivalry & Manager View

Rivalry Classic only lets you pick any two managers and see their head-to-head history — who's ahead across the whole season. In an H2H league this is replaced by Head-to-Head, showing real win/draw/loss records from actual fixtures.

Manager View is one manager's full season on one page: rank, total, average, best and worst gameweeks, form, and every award they've won. Tap any manager's name anywhere in the app to jump straight here.

05 · Tournaments

Run an FA Cup (single knockout), a Last Man Standing (survive each week or you're out), or a Champions League format (groups, then knockout) alongside your normal season. Set it up once — fixtures, rounds, and eliminations are handled for you as gameweeks come in.

Byes and odd numbers: the bracket handles them automatically — you don't need a number of managers that divides neatly.

06 · Payments & Earnings

Payments Admin only tracks who's paid their registration fee, who's pending, and who's overdue — and can send a payment link to a manager's phone. Important: the platform never collects, holds, or touches your league's money at any point — payments go directly between you and your managers.

Earnings Admin only breaks down the prize pot itself — what's been collected and what's owed to whom based on your prize structure.

Bulletins Admin only auto-writes a weekly newsletter from that gameweek's results — edit it if you like, then copy straight into WhatsApp.

07 · Hall of Fame

Season records and past champions — podiums, tournament winners, and each manager's all-time legacy page. This is what makes closing a season worthwhile: everything from a completed season lives here permanently, and a manager's history follows them season to season even if their team name changes.

08 · Copycat Watch

Compares every manager's squad and transfers against well-known FPL content creators, and flags anyone whose team is tracking a creator unusually closely — a bit of harmless league banter, automated. Add creators by name (and their FPL entry ID once you have it) in Settings, then hit Refresh from FPL whenever you want an updated read. It pulls live, so run it as often as you like.

09 · Bringing in existing data

Mid-season already, or migrating from a spreadsheet? Every import works the same way.

Start with the template, every time. Every import screen has a Download Template button that generates a CSV already filled in with your real managers' names — you're filling in numbers next to names that already match, not building a file from scratch.

Save your Excel sheet as .csv first (File → Save As → CSV), fill in the template, then upload it back. You'll see a preview before anything is saved, and any manager name that doesn't match gets flagged rather than silently skipped.

Gameweek scores

ColumnManager, GW1, GW2GW38

One row per manager, one column per gameweek. Leave a cell blank for a gameweek not yet played.

Weekly awards (MOTW / DOTW)

ColumnGW, MOTW, MOTW Score, DOTW, DOTW Score

Past season podiums

Columnseason, rank, manager, score

One row per podium finish (rank 1–3) per season. Score is optional.

Past tournament winners

Columnseason, tournament, rank, manager

This is the one for your tournament archive — one row per finishing position (1st–4th) per past FA Cup, UCL, or Last Man Standing.

10 · Closing a season

Settings → Danger Zone → Close Season

Play through the final gameweek as normal — nothing special about the last week itself.

Go to Settings → Danger Zone and open Close Season. You'll see a full read-only preview of everything about to be written — final standings, tournament winners, podium. Nothing is saved until you actually confirm.

Review it, then press Close Season. The league locks read-only, and everything moves permanently into the Hall of Fame.

Start the new season by creating a fresh league through the setup wizard. Returning managers are recognised automatically — their history carries forward rather than starting a duplicate record.

Closing a season is reversible from the same Danger Zone screen if you catch a mistake right away — but treat it as a real, deliberate step, not something to click through quickly.

11 · Settings

Admin only Everything about how your league is configured lives here: prize structure and currency, your league's accent colour, viewer link management (rotate it if it ever leaks), the imports above, auto-fetch preferences, and Danger Zone for closing or archiving a season.
